1. How do I order?
To purchase an item, click the "add to cart" button which you will find on each product page. Once you have added the item(s) you wish to your cart click "checkout" and your order will then be processed externally by PayPal. You may pay with your debit or credit card through PayPal, or directly with your PayPal account if you have one. When your chosen payment method has been accepted PayPal will send you a payment receipt email and you will receive an automated Order Confirmation email from us. Your order will then begin processing.

2. What payment methods do you accept?
Payment is primarily by PayPal. You can pay with your debit or credit card through PayPal even if you do not have a PayPal account, however it is easy to set up a PayPal account if you have a valid email address.

Please note any payments made by eCheque through PayPal will only be delivered when the funds have cleared.

***Please ensure that the address listed with your PayPal account is the correct mailing address for you.***


Please email us with full details if there are any changes as soon as possible. We cannot be held responsible if your order is delivered to the wrong address!

3. How secure is PayPal?
PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available) so your financial details and money are safe!

4. Can I pay by cheque or postal order?
Yes, we also accept cheques or postal orders (for UK customers only). Please email us for more information and to arrange this. All orders paid by cheque will be posted when the funds have cleared, this can take anything up to 10 days.

5. What currency do you use?
We are based in the UK so all our prices are in Pounds Sterling. If you wish to know the prices in your local currency please use a currency converter such as XE.com.

6. How much is delivery within the UK?
All orders within the UK are sent by Royal Mail Standard First Class post.

Postage & packing charges are calculated at checkout depending on the size and weight of your order. You may also upgrade to Recorded Delivery or Special Delivery, if you wish to track your order online. Please note these charges are in addition to our standard postal charge automatically calculated at checkout.

Orders above £50 are automatically upgraded to Special Delivery, free of charge!

7. How much is delivery outside the UK?
Postage & packing charges for international orders are calculated at checkout depending on the size and weight of your order and your country.

All international orders are sent by Royal Mail Standard Airmail which does NOT have a tracking facility. If you require an insured tracking service you may choose the International Signed For option, a priority service for orders outside of the UK. Your order will require a signature upon delivery. Please note this is not a next day service provided by us, but we will prioritise your order. If your order is urgent, please let us know! Please note this charge is in addition to our standard postal rate automatically calculated at checkout.

Orders above £50 are automatically upgraded to International Signed For, free of charge!

8. When will my order arrive?
Once your order has been processed and despatched we will send you an order status email which will contain the postal method used and any relevant tracking numbers (if you upgraded to Recorded Delivery, Special Delivery or International Signed For).

If there is going to be a significant delay with posting your order for any reason we will inform you via email. Occasionally an item may become out of stock after you have placed your order, in this case we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of a refund or having it shipped separately if it will be back in stock. If the item will not be back in stock soon we will refund your payment immediately.

This Charming Girl cannot be held responsible for orders arriving late due to delays in the postal service or circumstances outwith our control.

UK Orders

We endeavour to process and despatch UK orders within 1-4 working days of the order being placed but during busy times orders may take up to 7 working days to process.

If your order is urgent, please let us know by emailing orders@thischarminggirl.com after placing your order and we will do our best to prioritise it. However please note for guaranteed delivery you must upgrade to Special Delivery at additional cost.

Please allow 15 working days from the date of posting (once you have received the order status email) to receive your order.

International Orders

We endeavour to process and despatch international orders within 1-4 working days of the order being placed but during busy times orders may take up to 7 working days to process.

Estimated delivery times for countries outside the UK are as follows:

Europe: approximately 4-14 working days
Rest of the world: 5-20 working days

***Please note that these timeframes are only an estimation and orders may take longer to arrive in some cases due to postal delays and customs policies in your country. International orders are not considered lost until one month has passed.***


Please bear in mind if your order was sent via a signed for service (such as Recorded Delivery, Special Delivery or International Signed For) a signature will be required on delivery and that your local post office may hold your package in the event of nobody being available to sign for it.

9. Can I place an express order?
If you wish to place an express order (e.g. for a birthday) email us before placing your order and we'll do our best to help. Express orders within the UK are sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery (signed for next day by 1pm). Please add Special Delivery to your cart before checking out once we have confirmed we can meet your due delivery date.
Please do not place your order then tell us you need it by a certain date. Email us to ensure we are able to fulfil your request first. Thanks!

10. What is your return policy?
  • Every care has been taken to ensure our website descriptions, measurements and photographs accurately portray the jewellery, however representations may vary depending on your specific browser and computer monitor.

  • We hope you love your This Charming Girl jewellery but if you are unhappy we will offer you a full refund (excluding postage & packing fees, unless the item is deemed faulty) if the item is returned to us in its original, unworn condition within 7 days from the date of delivery. Please note that the return postage is at your (the customer’s) expense and we strongly recommend that when returning items you use a Signed For insured service (such as Recorded Delivery) as we cannot be held responsible for items which do not reach us.

  • This return policy does not extend to earrings due to hygiene reasons or for jewellery which has been altered to your specifications.

  • To arrange a refund please contact orders@thischarminggirl.com and we will provide you with a returns number which you must include with your returned item. We cannot accept unauthorised returns, please do not return items without contacting us first.

    All refunds will be made in the manner payment was received (i.e. if you paid with PayPal, you would receive a PayPal refund or if you paid by cheque, you would receive a cheque from us). All refunds will be processed within 14 days of the item being returned to us.

    11. My order hasn't arrived
    If your order hasn't arrived after the estimated timeframe for delivery for your country, please contact us.

    You may enquire about your order status at any time by emailing us with full details of your order.

    12. Help! My jewellery is broken
    We take the utmost care and attention in assembling jewellery so your jewellery should not break. However, in the unlikely event that something has broken please email us and we'll do our best to sort it out. Any broken jewellery must be returned to us before it can be fixed, replaced or refunded. Please be aware it is costume jewellery and treat it gently! We ensure jewellery is securely packaged before reaching you so any jewellery damaged in the post is not our responsibility.

    13. Customs charges
    Please note, any import duties or customs charges are levied once they reach your country and you are liable to pay any fees incurred. This Charming Girl has no control over this, nor can we predict what they may be. For more information please contact your local customs office.
